Our Valentine's Week

We started this fun week with a Valentine's party at one of our friends' house on Sunday.  The girls had heart-shaped PBJ's and played some fun games.

 

On Monday we had a little play date with another friend and we made these fun Valentine picture frames.

At our library story time this week the kids made Valentine's sacks (to put their Valentines card and candy in that they got from the library staff).

The librarian also sent the kids home with some fun Valentine coloring pages to color at home.

Rylee and I made Valentine's cookies.  She has a thing with Sprinkles...wants them on everything! We enjoyed eating the frosting from the can while we waited for the cookies to bake.

Rylee handmade some Valentine's cards for a few family members and our plan was to deliver them yesterday, but instead we stayed home and had some Valentine's delivered to us.  My aunt stopped by with the kids' gifts and played for a bit.  The kids also received Valentine's cards/gifts in the mail from Grandma...Rylee was bouncing off the walls with excitement over all of her fun Valentine's she got!!  She might like this holiday more than I do!!

This morning we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and the kids got their little gifts from us.  Rylee got 2 more Book/CD stories and chocolate and Wyatt got some little bath boats (thank-you Target dollar spot) and chocolate.  Rylee's favorite were her princess chocolates...."This is EXACTLY what I wanted!!"

In addition to Valentine's Day we celebrated my niece's 4th birthday with her on Tuesday and will be attending her and my nephew's birthday party at a roller skating rink this afternoon.  Fun Week!!
